Promote the economic activity in its district, Provide the public authorities with information, opinions and suggestions about Industrial, Trade, Craft, Services and Small Professions activities, Take part to the initiatives of the representative bodies sharing same purposes, Conclude trade cooperation agreements with foreign Chambers of commerce and industry, Express itself about trade agreements and participates in their follow-up as well as in their implementation. The CCIT holds the vice-presidency of the Association of Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry ASCAME. It is also has the presidency of the Training Commission. The General Secretariat of the Tunisian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is sheltered within the CCIT. The ICC Publications (Incoterms, Documentary credits, Modal of contracts, etc.) are available in the Tunisian Committee. The CCIT is the Tunisian body guaranteeing the International Road Transport System (IRU) since 1992. The CCIT is the Tunisian body guaranteeing the ATA Regime since 1998.
