of Commerce and Industry

The Association of Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME) is an international, voluntary and non-profit institution.

The ASCAME was created on October 1st, 1982 in Barcelona by the initiative of the Marseille-Provence Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation and the Tunis Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The ASCAME groups more than 200 Chambers of commerce and industry and other analogue institutions from Mediterranean countries.

Goals

The main aim of the Association is to establish permanent contacts and to set up lasting relationships between its Members in order to coordinate, realise and promote joint actions and researches leading to developing economic exchange and cooperation in the Mediterranean region at the international level.

The activities of ASCAME are concentrated on economic and commercial issues which interest Mediterranean companies. The Association aims to increase economic cooperation between its Members.
